Acquired in 1991 from Wardspring Council as a golf facility by Avoncrest Developments Ltd. A 125 year lease was signed in 1994 and the Floodlit Golf Driving Range was built. The site was re-zoned by the NSC to mixed use, 25 acres of Retail, 25 Acres of Employment, and 20 Acres of leisure. There is currently a new master plan being brought forward with details below.
